What do successful people do?
Are you trying to reach success, but it seems to allude you? Are there to many distractions for you to concentrate? You must focus on reaching success – get rid of the obstacles.
It sometimes seems impossible, but it really isn’t. YOU have to make a decision to turn things around. YOU have to decide how bad you want it.
Are you trying to make money in the affiliate marketing world? Well, it can be tough, very, very tough. You have to want it really, really, bad.
Some times it seems like it’s the impossible dream. But, trust me, it can be done.
Successful people do what unsuccessful people don’t want to do. Work hard and never give up.
Before they were successful they got up an hour early and hit the books (or computer). When the rest of the family went to bed and were sleeping, they were still at work. They sacrificed 2-3 hours of t.v. or playing games on line. They were focused and determined to make it.
If you are learning affiliate marketing, just remember this, it’s not a get rich quick plan. You have to plan on having a lot of determination to reach success. Rome wasn’t built in a day and unfortunately neither was making good money in affiliate marketing.
Many people quit when they are so close. If they only knew how close they were they would have continued on that journey.
Sadly, many unscrupulous people will lead you to believe otherwise, but I don’t want to go off on that tangent.

Working 9 to 5
If you are still working a full-time job, yes, it will be very hard for you. You will have to carve out small amounts of time before or after work, but it can be done. If you have a family, you will have to sacrifice some time with them. But if you join a program, like I’m a member of, you can see success with a couple of hours a day. It might take a little longer to reach success but it can be done.
How to stay focused
I personally think staying focused is in the mind. You have to decide what you want and go for it, one step at a time. You can’t deviate from your goals and the work pattern you set for yourself. Take baby step and they will lead to big gains before you know it.
If you are retired or out of work that sets up a whole set of different problems. First you think you have all the time in the world and you start out without any plan.
You just think you can work anytime. Well that can become a big problem. No focus, nothing gets accomplished. Been there done that. I think being structured works best. Set aside set times every day to do different aspects in your training. Try to stay organized. That definitely saves a lot of time.
Now, I have set hours, during the day, that I set aside for work. And that gets broken down into so many hours I do lessons, an hour or so for comments, so much time to do updates, and I found that after dinner in the evening was the best time for me to write articles. So far this is working the best for me.
What works for you may be completely different. But, having a system and a plan is very important.
There are many choices out there, but how many do you want to chase?
We have all gotten caught up in the Shiny New Object dilemma a few times. But try to get away from doing that. If you find a good program and know money can be made from it, not millions overnight, stick with that program and you will eventually see success.
The shiny object system can be a big downfall. The guru’s make it sound so tempting, but, remember it’s not real, The only one making any money is the owner of that fake program, so don’t fall for it.
Finally fear of failure
Many people are afraid of failing. The problem is if you don’t try things how will you know if you can succeed. Trying and failing just bring you one step closer to success. The person that never tries will never succeed that for sure. Because you certainly can’t succeed if you don’t try.
I remember someone telling me once that they didn’t want to be old, sitting a rocking chair and say “what if” I had tried that instead of staying in this lousy job. Maybe I could have achieved a good measure of success. Don’t let that be you. Follow your dream and see what you can achieve, so you don’t have to say “what if”?
Affiliate Marketing is a chance for anyone, no matter how much money you have to achieve success. It does not take a big investment like a brick and mortar business, which can be quite expensive, especially a franchise. So go out there and grab it with both hands.
