Even many people with college degrees are working for minimum wages right now.
More people now than 10 years ago are stuck in jobs with minimum wages only.
The 2 parent household is declining as we speak.
The number of children living in single parent homes has increased dramatically. Of 63 million children in the US, 12.6 live with one parent in the 1980 census. And I’m sure that is still increasing to this day.
Last year 1.532 million people earned just minimum wages.

Are you one of these statistics? Hopefully not, but if you are reading this chances are you or someone you love is in this situation.
If you are, what can you do about it?
Well, you have options, but they do involved hard work and commitment.
You can’t be lazy or unmotivated, it won’t work. You have to seriously want to better your life and not expect someone to hand it to you.
I know I’ve been there. So I’m talking from experience, not thru my hat.
I was divorced with 4 children, making minimum wage in a department store.
I knew I would not be able to keep my home or raise my children in the manner I would like, so I decided to take the bull by the horns.
When my youngest child started school, I went back to school and studied to become a hairstylist.
After working for a salon for the required time, I borrowed money and opened my own salon and thrived with a lot of hard knocks and plenty hard work and some help from my parents. I’m not saying that’s for you. But, fortunately I had a knack for styling hair, so it was natural path for me, plus, the schooling was not that expensive and I could go while my youngest son was in kindergarten.
I don’t want to bore you with all the details, but just to let you know, I ended up with a 20 employee salon and day spa with a great reputation, which I was very proud of.
So, if there’s a will there’s a way.
But that was long before the internet explosion of today and the last few years.
Especially, now with Covid19, more and more people are shopping online all the time.
So, what can you do on the internet?
Today there is so much more available at your finger tips. I wish it had been available back then, maybe it was and I just was not aware of the opportunities there were.
BUT, it is available now and it is yours for the taking. Very little overhead, very little training to get started.
Have you heard of affiliate marketing? I never did until a few years ago.
Affiliate marketing is where you start a website or blog and write articles about different things like cameras, headsets, actually about almost anything. If someone reads your article and liked what you said about that camera and wanted to buy it, they would just click your personalized link and be brought to where they can purchase that camera. Like the Canon Company or Amazon. Depends where your link was set up. Then you get a commission for recommending that camera.
No worrying about drop-shipping, inventory, sales, or those annoying returns. It’s like a dream job.
Just think, work from home. No commuting, no traffic, no money for gas and lunches. Earn money while you sleep. It doesn’t get any better than that.
Available to Anyone
Have you heard of affiliate marketing?
No, well start studying it, you will be very glad that you did.
I had never heard of it, but it is a hidden gem for earning a living.
Well, it’s a great way to work from home and earn extra money, if you have a computer and internet connection, that’s all you need to get started.
Plus, you don’t have to be a whiz with the computer. I know I’m not. Just learn as you go. Yes, it can get frustrating plenty of the time. Just take a deep breath and work through it.
And, you will have a sense of accomplishment, plus, the ability to earn a decent living for you and your family.
Also, it’s not expensive to get started. The cost are minimal. And you need very little to get started. Maybe a notebook and pencils.
Just take your time and learn as you go. That’s what I did.
I didn’t even know how to copy and paste, now I have 2 website up and running (with a little help from my friends at WA).
Look at some of my other articles regarding earning money on line and you will see that it is something you can do if you want it bad enough.
But like I said you have to be determined and willing to work very hard, and LEARN. But if you are willing to do that and learn as you earn, the sky’s the limit.
If you are clueless about earning money with affiliate marketing, research it on Google. You will learn there are many avenues to take, but be careful of the “get rich quick schemes” because that’s what they are, schemes.
If their website shows fancy cars, mansions. and boats, stay away. It’s just a scam!
There are some legitimate programs out there but not as many as there are the scams. So when you find a program that interests you, look for a review and see how it measures up.

It does take time, don’t expect a get-rich-quick success story. That’s not going to happen (unless you are very lucky) Just check it out. You will be glad you did, I know I was.
